The schooner was built in 1901 and has been navigating since 1946 in the Aeolian Islands. Although she usually transported goods, once she transported famous persons such as the Rossellini team when was shot the movie "Stromboli, terra di Dio" with Ingrid Bergman, movie that introduced Stromboli to the world.
